LONDON–Zendaya’s new gold band, replacing her engagement ring, confirms that she and longtime partner Tom Holland have finally gotten married! While the couple has tried to keep their personal lives out of the limelight, Marvelous Movies reporters were able to sneak into the ceremony to get the juicy details. The couple was wed at a chapel in central London, surrounded by both actors’ families, top Marvel executives, and the otherworldly demon Mephisto.

The villainous Mephisto (Sacha Baron Cohen) reportedly wasn’t even on the invite list, but somehow found his way in nonetheless. Guests told interviewers that Mephisto seemed especially interested in Holland’s elderly aunt. At certain intervals–like when Holland’s aunt had a coughing fit during the service or almost tripped and fell on the way to her seat–Mephisto approached Holland, offering to save her life in exchange for an unspecified price. Holland declined each offer.

As the wedding party took their places at the front of the chapel, Zendaya was escorted down the aisle by her father, Liet-Kynes of the Fremen people of Arrakis. Fellow actress Florence Pugh, Zendaya’s onetime rival for her lover’s affections, was not invited to the wedding.

Toward the end of the ceremony, the officiant customarily asked if anyone present knew a reason why the bride and groom should not be joined together. Joe Quesada, former chief creative officer of Marvel Entertainment, immediately stood up and began giving an impassioned speech about preserving Holland’s longevity to keep him “young” and “relatable.” Holland then reached out from onstage and webbed Quesada’s mouth shut.

Finally, Holland slipped a webbing ring onto Zendaya’s finger. When it dissolved about an hour later, he replaced it with a longer-lasting wedding ring instead. Holland and Zendaya kissed and were legally pronounced husband and wife, to resounding applause from all attendees (except Quesada).

Given the couple’s attempts to maintain their privacy, Holland admittedly seemed upset by the presence of media reporters at the ceremony and subsequent reception. Nearby guests allegedly heard Holland say, “I wish I could just wave a magic wand and make everyone forget I was a celebrity.” At this point, Mephisto again approached Holland to offer him a deal. Doctor Strange was unavailable for comment.

While it’s unclear what the future will hold for Holland and Zendaya, this is definitely the beginning of a Brand New Day for them. For the couple’s sake and privacy, we hope it’s one that avoids any more unnecessary Drama.
