EXCLUSIVE–After years of rumors and speculation, we now know for sure what many fans have long believed to be true. Our sources can confirm that the actors James Franco, Topher Grace, and Thomas Haden Church did in fact all have roles in the 2007 film Spider-Man 3.

The actors’ involvement was confirmed in large part by the film’s end credits, in which all three names were listed. Franco played Harry Osborn/the new Green Goblin, Grace played Eddie Brock/Venom, and Church played Flint Marko/the Sandman. Reports of the actors’ involvement are corroborated by the film itself, in which each actor’s face can be clearly seen at multiple different points throughout the story.

It’s interesting to note that, when the film first released, it actually received heavy criticism from audiences for including too many villains in what many saw as an overstuffed plot line. Thankfully, we can all be sure that a hypothetical future movie featuring several different heroes and villains from different film adaptations of the same character would never have such a problem!

It may be hard to believe that these three actors were actually in Spider-Man 3, given that they’ve all maintained acting careers and been in other movies since then. But we can assure you that it’s true!
