USA–The season finale of Ahsoka has aired, and the fans are raving! Along with a wide range of reactions comes speculation about the colorful cast of brand new characters the show introduced us to, including Hera, Sabine, Ezra, and Thrawn. Will we see more of them in the future?

“It was a good story, but a lot of the characters needed more development,” commented one fan, Fred King. “Still, I’m just glad to be getting more Star Wars. I’ve watched everything Star Wars except for all that cartoon crap. That’s for kids.”

Some fans agreed, revealing an interest in developing these new characters further. “What we really need is a prequel show about Ezra and Sabine during the Rebellion!” said Tyler Black. “That would be pretty cool.”

“That blue guy was a very compelling villain,” added Thomas Zane. “I’d love to see him in more Star Wars media. Maybe even a novelization!”

Not everyone found the new characters entirely convincing, though. “Ahsoka was taught by Anakin?” asked Christian Haydensen. “Then how come she hasn’t been in any of the movies? That’s kind of a random retcon for a character who was just introduced two years ago on The Mandalorian.”

At publishing time, Lucasfilm had announced a prequel series, Star Wars Rebels, which first aired on Disney over five years ago.
