BURBANK, CA – In a surprising move, Marvel Studios has decided that having an unbroken string of cameos by a single, instantly-recognizable figure is something that it can never give up. “We felt that any entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe without a trademark cameo would let the fanbase down. So soon after the passing of Mr. Lee and the departure of so many beloved Marvel characters, we did not want our moviegoers to feel deserted,” the studio said in a press release.
