THE HELICARRIER – In the aftermath of Spider-Man: Far From Home, fans have been confused as to who is manning the helm at S.H.I.E.L.D. in the absence of Nick Fury.
Obviously, Fury would not have left his beloved organization in the hands of two shape-shifting aliens, so the theories about the individual really calling the shots at the MCU’s most powerful governmental agency have abounded. Marvelous Movies has reviewed some of Disney’s internal memos about clearing up the confusion. These have confirmed that Edna Mode is the new Acting Director of S.HI.E.L.D.
“The post-snap world is a strange place,” Marvel Studios said in an official response to our inquiries. “Who better to lead the largest spy agency than someone as strange as Edna?”
While details have yet to be confirmed, we can assume that S.H.I.E.L.D.’s childcare offerings will now improve, and the functional suits worn by the heroes will be replaced with much more stylish offerings.
Editor’s Note: Shortly after filing this story, Marvelous Movies received word that the Cape-Maker Guild of America has filed a lawsuit against Acting Director Mode for false claims as to the danger of their products. Further details will be reported as they become available.
