“Wheel of Time” Showrunner Announces Extensive Use of Mask of Mirrors to Recreate Randland

SEATTLE, WA – Wheel of Time fans were recently treated to a trailer which showcased the TV series’s rendering of notable locations within Randland. The locations, all original designs created specifically for the show and not utilizing existing buildings or locations on Earth, have generated tremendous online buzz. This buzz only increased when showrunner Rafe Judkins announced that these locations were created through extensive use of the Mask of Mirrors.
At the press conference, our reporters sought to clarify whether Judkins was suggesting actual magic or computer-generated special effects. “We are using light bent through artificial means to create a very specific illusion to draw in our viewers and convince them they are viewing a full reality,” Judkins said. “What’s the difference?”
To be clear, Marvelous Movies only hires the greatest of geniuses. Yet even we cannot tell the difference between computer-generated special effects and the Mask of Mirrors.
