“Bully Maguire” Variant Upset by “No Way Home” Snub

QUEENS, NY — A Peter Parker variant of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man (dubbed by fans as Bully Maguire) who kept the black suit and continued being a bully is reportedly very upset he was not asked to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The variant, who has become very popular online as a meme, contacted Marvelous Movies for an exclusive sit-down to share his grievances and call out Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige and Sony’s Amy Pascal.

“Kevin and Amy? They were afraid to call me,” variant Parker said between hair flips and bites of New York-style hot dog. “I mean, I killed my universe’s Thanos single-handedly, so I am a bit intimidating.”

“They called in the sissy version of me who got rid of this slick black suit. I could have taken on all those baddies by myself,” said variant Parker. “I might have to go talk to my universe’s Doctor Strange to see if he can set up a cage match for me between them.”

The variant went on to say he is currently campaigning to appear in the sequel to the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

“I do expect a call from [Phil] Lord and [Chris] Miller about showing up in Across the Spider-Verse, though,” variant Parker added. “One of those Spider-Mans did my dance in the first one, so it’s only natural for me, myself, to show up in the sequel.”

Do you think Bully Maguire should have shown up in No Way Home? Does he deserve to appear in Across the Spider-Verse? Let us know in the comments below!
