Marvelous Movies has become aware of a new and impending threat: the zombified remnants of the MCU. Viewers are advised to remain vigilant and proceed with extreme caution.

We write in loving memory of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a fan-favorite franchise that will always hold a special place in our hearts. Born on May 2, 2008, the MCU put out several excellent movies and shows in the prime of its life, from roughly 2012 to 2019.

But after Avengers: Endgame in 2019, it became clear that the aging franchise was growing weaker, having lost its youthful vitality. Advanced age also made it more susceptible to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, the MCU put out no new movies–only a weird horror show that nobody actually watched. The franchise contracted long-lasting symptoms including losing its sense of taste. And then, in 2020, the world mourned as the once-beloved MCU finally breathed its last.

In 2021 and beyond, there have been numerous attempts by Marvel’s top scientists to resurrect the deceased franchise. Some of these attempts have even shown promise–while others have met with absolute disaster. But ultimately, none have been successful at breathing life back into the MCU. The franchise has remained a dead, rotting corpse.

Until now.

It seems like they’ve finally done it this time–just not in the way we wanted. Because the Marvel Zombies miniseries, coming in September, is reanimating the MCU’s festering remains! Marvel Zombies offers a gruesome look at the Marvel universe if it were overrun by mindless, undead monsters.

But make no mistake. Just because the franchise is moving again doesn’t mean it’s truly alive. No, the revived cinematic universe is merely a grotesque mockery of the vitality it was once so full of. Devoid of all life and humanity, the reanimated corpse charges forward on primal instinct as if it doesn’t even realize it’s dead. It remains nothing more than a mindless shell, driven by an unquenchable hunger for more money, but thoughtlessly destroying everything in its path.

We here at Marvelous Movies urge extreme caution in engaging with these undead remnants of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They are to be considered infected and extremely dangerous. If we don’t deal with this threat soon–with a swift kill shot to the head, of course–then its infection could spread to other shows and spell a new apocalypse for TV as we know it!

Everyone stay safe out there and remember to avoid the undead MCU at all costs, for the safety and survival of yourself and all your loved ones.

Marvel Zombies premieres September 24 on DisneyPlus.
