- Thor is seen wearing his classic helmet from the comics.
- The Hulk shouts, “Hulk Smash!”
- Mutant humans are treated with suspicion, fear, and/or bias.
- A good Fantastic Four movie comes on.
- Uncle Ben offers Peter some wonderful advice such as, “With great power comes great responsibility.”
- Terrence Howard suits up.
- An appearance by the real Mandarin.
- The movies reference one of the Marvel TV shows.
- A villain undergoes character development.
