BURBANK, CA–It’s been seven years since the sixth and final season of Community, but acccording to creator Dan Harmon, the long-hoped-for movie is still in the works. But seven years is an eternity in Hollywood time, and we now have confirmed reports that the movie will be a reboot with an all-new cast!

According to our sources, the lineup is as follows:

  • Andrew Garfield as Jeff Winger. We all know Andrew Garfield is the secret to making younger, cooler, and hipper reboots. Besides, his casting will continue the tradition of Jeff Winger being played by a Spider-Man alum.
  • Emma Stone as Britta Perry. Also known as “hot blond, Spanish class.” Guess she’ll be changing her hair again.
  • Brie Larson as Annie Edison. Alison Brie and Brie Larson have almost the same name, right? And while she was only a recurring character on the original Community, Brie Larson is unquestionably a fan-favorite actress to all!
  • Iman Vellani as Abed Nadir. A Muslim pop culture nerd who has a hard time telling fantasy from reality. Yep, she fits the part!
  • Billy Dee Williams as Troy Barnes. “Let’s see how you like being re-cast, huh, young man?” Paget Brewster as Shirley Bennett. “Say hello to New Shirley!”
  • Former President Donald Trump as Pierce Hawthorne. Well, Trump is an experienced TV celebrity who isn’t doing much these days. And he’s basically just Pierce Hawthorne in real life, but worse!
  • Jensen Ackles as Dean Pelton. He’ll always be a Dean. It’s part of his i-Dean-tity.
  • Jonathan Majors as Benjamin Chang. Confirming once and for all that Chang is actually a Kang variant.

Community: Freshman Year is expected to air on DisneyPlus in 2024. This movie is sure to be streets ahead!
