Dear Marvelous Movies,
The season finale of The Mandalorian showed Jedi Master Luke Skywalker taking Grogu with him for Jedi training. Please don’t tell anyone this, but I’ve watched the Star Wars sequel trilogy. The sequel trilogy says Kylo Ren kills all of Luke’s students. My twin brother is excited because he says Kylo will kill Grogu. That’s not true, is it?
Jaina S., Academy Student
Dear Jaina,
No, Kylo does not kill Grogu in the time between The Mandalorian and The Force Awakens. In The Rise of Skywalker, Kylo dies after giving his life force to revive Rey. If he had killed Grogu, he would have died violently and much sooner at the hands of outraged fans, an assortment of Mandalorians, bounty hunters, criminals, former Rebels, S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Melinda May, Claire from The Defenders, Aquaman’s dad, Starbuck Thrace from Battlestar Galactica, and Rocky Balboa’s nemesis.
Most people would argue that Kylo was strong with the Force and could have taken on these enemies and won. But the truth of the matter is Solo men don’t fare well against Mandalorians. In fact, they tend to freeze up and turn into big blocks of ice.
Sincerely,
Marvelous Movies
