BURBANK, CA–Leaked set photos seem to have confirmed fans’ suspicions that Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), the Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal), and baby Grogu will appear in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars.

Following the 2015 comic book storyline that inspired it, Secret Wars involves heroes from disparate dimensions all across the multiverse coming together to face a common threat. Fans already expect to see Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine joining the Avengers in this movie. The addition of characters from the Star Wars universe truly highlights the multiversal nature of the film.

The news follows announcements that Dave Filoni would be bringing Mando, Grogu, and the rest to the big screen as the conclusion of their multi-season story arc. Now it seems that their story will include a crossover of truly grand proportions as they team up with the Avengers. The united heroes are expected to face a threat like no other: an alliance between Doctor Doom and Grand Admiral Thrawn with designs to conquer the entire multiverse.

The Mandalorian is expected to be introduced as an alternate universe variant of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, who will be integral to defeating Doctor Doom. There will also be a storyline in which Ahsoka (Dawson) befriends Daredevil and Luke Cage, prompting them to reassemble the Defenders.

Other characters expected to appear include Batman, Gandalf, Godzilla, Optimus Prime, and the Power Rangers. The film’s soundtrack is confirmed to include Lemon Demon’s classic hit “The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny.”

Avengers: Secret Star Wars hits theaters in 2027.
